One Day of Many
Published on: June 10, 2025
Something approaches, a monster thru fog
No reason to try, it cannot be stopped.
Against it I stand while others, they jog.
And fight thru I will, how else should I opt?
Head in the sand? No! Will not, were I could.
Discard vain leisure; Experience taught.
Run away? Pretend? Won't do any good.
They drop great treasure; the dragons when fought,
The monster: today, one day of many.
From this side of noon, thru the sun setting
Rather be sleeping, tho've done that plenty.
Make time my ally, stop the rouletting.
Let's plan our attack, envision our goal.
Lay the foundation, toward it we'll stroll.
