Heat swells.
Far distant
Storm clouds
Loom large,
Move, morph.

Nothing happens;
Dead still,

Corn flies
Flit by,
Break peace.

Corn flies crave swatting
One: not worth the energy
Dozens test my calm

Loud cacophony
So many words, nothing said
Large crowd tiny space
