Songs from times long past
Memories, feelings... Just gone
Brought back instantly.

Circle of tulips
Industrialized beauty
Undermined by moles.

Meandering mists
Does frolicking down fencelines
Magical morning

Rain storms and cloud poofs
Cube-front view to the down pour
Where I'd rather be

One day to refresh?
No, that's not quite enough time;
But it is a start.

Grain elevator
Easily mistaken for
Farm-town church steeple

Awake! Thunderstorm.
Cozy warm under covers
Don't wanna get up...

In her arms, relaxed
After all our trials, still
Twenty-six great years

Drip drop water splats
Birds chirping, flitting, singing
Moment of stillness

Long productive day
At leisure... with family
Model to repeat

Spending energy
Nothing at all accomplished
Children making friends

Mist fills the valleys
Flowers pop: comfrey, Iris
Magical morning.
