Sleep, Alarm Snooze, sleep...
Alarm Alarm, Snooze Snooze, ugh...
Alarm, Oh Shit, Life!
Syllable count rule:
Utterly irrelevant?
Generates focus!
water pushed through seed,
turbulent crema rises
briefly, then consumed
baby blue tea set
horse sits patiently for more
forgotten, she waits.
Nothingness, flowing
Hands moving, thoughtless progress
Peace amidst chaos
Empty coffeehouse
Machine hiss, ice drops, blender whirls
A new dawn approaches
Huge humans hold hands
Softly, sound sleep sinks slowly
Cult classics calm kid
The burnout is real
Motivation is waning
Constant activeness
Days sliced to pieces
None enough to accomplish
Any goal worth while
Crowded room, eyes closed
Amidst chaos, a moment
Ah, tranquility.
Straw bonds bind against
Progress, requires action
Merely active faith.
Mist over the pond
Eagle interrupted glares
Breaking of dawn | peace
Donated lampposts
Light shed on such history
You will never share
Lazy turtle head
Floating still atop the pond
Mocking my effort
Cool crisp calm morning
Sun peaking from behind clouds
A new beginning
Teens sit, time wasted
Bureaucracy on display
Every Monday mourn
Wispy plastic sheet
floating free amongst the cars...
CAUGHT! Dons steam disguise.
A lazy day at work
A day for contemplation
A chance to refresh
nearly naked limbs
spread arms spring color sprinkles
mystical milieu
Stillness is the key
Irrelevant is the door
Everything is now
Sweetness verbalized:
"Mommy, I'm playing coffee-shop!"
Empress in training.
Holding tightly on
Trust evolved over decades,
Reinforced daily.
Week four, weakening
Fifty done, forming challenge
Momentum, molehill
Prosperity; Work
Normalized; Giants' Shoulders
Peace Era; Hard-Won.
What good can be done?
The main question required
to make life better.
"Just" a "normal" day:
Went to work, hung out with friends
Evening filled with talk
Mist fills the valleys
Flowers pop: comfrey, Iris
Magical morning.
Spending energy
Nothing at all accomplished
Children making friends
Drip drop water splats
Birds chirping, flitting, singing
Moment of stillness
In her arms, relaxed
After all our trials, still
Twenty-six great years
Awake! Thunderstorm.
Cozy warm under covers
Don't wanna get up...
Grain elevator
Easily mistaken for
Farm-town church steeple
YEAH! WOO-FREAKIN-HOO!!!
Thirty April days, each one
